Shipping Policy

GLOVE PURCHASE AND GLOVE SERVICES ORDER TIMES:

Every glove is conditioned by hand by a GloveWhisperer professional who is trained to
meet the highest standards of service and care for each glove.
The GW process is a human process; we never use steam, chemicals of any type, oils,
excessive heat, ovens, microwaves, or water at any temperature.

 

RAPID SHIP (RS) Orders:

Ship the next business day after the order is placed. Business days do not include
Saturday, Sunday, or National Holiday’s. RS orders placed on Friday will ship on the
next business day (Monday unless a holiday). RS orders placed on Saturday and
Sunday are not processed as orders until Monday (or the first business day after the
weekend). We try to ship all orders as quickly as they have been properly processed
and checked for quality control.

 

READY TO PLAY (RTP) Orders:
Ship 5 to 7 business days or less after the order has been placed. Business days do not
include Saturday, Sunday, or National Holiday’s. RTP orders placed on Friday will ship
on the next business day (Monday unless a holiday). RTP orders placed on Saturday
and Sunday are not processed as orders until Monday (or the first business day after
the weekend). We try to ship all orders as quickly as they have been properly
processed and checked for quality control.


GLOVE SERVICES (GS) Orders: (You ship or have your glove shipped to GloveWhisperer):
Ship back to customers 3 business days or less from the day after they arrive. All gloves
are checked in by the next business day after they arrive at our Connecticut workshop.
Saturday, Sunday, and national holidays are not business days.


SHIPPING DELIVERY: (Shipping begins once your glove is ready to ship):
The following shipping methods are available for US Shipping Including Alaska and
Hawaii
USPS PRIORITY 2 to 3 Day with tracking (not guaranteed delivery time by USPS)
USPS EXPRESS 1 to 2 Day with tracking delivery time guaranteed by USPS on label.
FedEx 2 Day with Guaranteed 2 Business day delivery (For up to 2 Gloves)

FedEx 2 Day and Express options as calculated per order

 

SHIPPING TO U.S. Territories, APO/FPO addresses:
GloveWhisperer ships using USPS Priority and Express Mail Services and many U.S.
Territories, APO/FPO shipments are covered by our general shipping policy. For
military shipments GloveWhisperer will refund shipping charges, after the purchase is
completed for active military shipping to a military address.

 

Canada or other International addresses:

new shipping providers. We attempt to provide the best shipping at the most affordable

Return Policy

GloveWhisperer (GW) has a RISK FREE 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

For New Gloves

  • When you order a new GW Ready To Play Glove regardless of the manufacturer we have a 90-day RISK FREE guarantee. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the glove(s) you purchase we will pay to have the glove shipped back to GW and refund 100% of the cost of the glove and for the cost of USPS Priority Shipping 2 to 3 days.
  • All you need to do is contact us by email at info@glovewhisperer.com or call us at 203-487-8997 (Calls Monday thru Saturday 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M Eastern Time). When calling or by email please be sure to provide the name as it appears on the original order you placed and if possible the last 4 digits of the order number.
  • We will email you a pre-paid return mailing label, that includes tracking and GW return processing information and easy return instruction.
  • When the glove arrives at our workshop we will process your return to credit the payment method you used (PayPal, Amazon Pay, Credit Card). The credit will be made by GW within 1 week (or less) of the return and will credit to your account according to the policies of the payment method used.
  • Please do not send the glove back without first contacting GW. While we will process returns made meeting our return policy, returns sent directly to GW not using the GW return mailing label will take longer to processes and we will not be responsible for gloves not arriving at our workshop.
  • All gloves must be returned in good condition.

GW Gloves returned under MANUFACTURER WARRANTY CLAIMS:

  • In the event you have a manufacturer’s warranty claim GloveWhisperer can help. We are happy to help you contact the manufacturer for such a claim and we will provide free Glove Break-In services for any glove purchased directly from GloveWhisperer and replaced or repaired by the manufacturer during their warranty period. Just send us the glove, or have the manufacturer send us the glove and we will provide the break-in and send it to you at no charge.

For GW Glove Services, (Any glove you send or have shipped to GW).

  • If the glove does not meet and exceed your expectations after having the initial 20-30 minute catch please contact us by email at info@glovewhisperer.com or call us at 203-487-8997 (Calls Monday thru Saturday 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M Eastern Time). We will either provide free shipping and reprocess the glove for free or refund your money in full. You need to begin the return or refund within 60 days after the glove is delivered back to your postal address.
  • GloveWhisperer will return to clients any Glove that in our sole discretion is not able to be properly conditioned, reconditioned, shaped, or otherwise benefit from the GloveWhisperer process. If we determine that a Glove is to be returned without receiving services by GloveWhisperer we will refund the services cost paid by the customer. Shipping will not be refunded. If you have a question regarding the condition of a glove and if it can benefit from the GloveWhisperer Process please take a few pictures of the glove and send them along with your contact information to Info@Glovewhisperer.com or call us at (203) 487-8997.

GW THOUGHTS ON GLOVE CARE

1) Wipe the glove with a damp cloth after play. Remove dirt and mud.
2) Wipe out any sweat from the inside Palm area of the glove.
3.) Twice a year use saddle soap, A VERY THIN LAYER, on the
leather. Wait 5 minutes then Rub off with a soft dry cloth.
4) You can treat the inside palm area with a thin coat of saddle soap
monthly to protect against damage from hand sweat.
* We do not recommend oils as these just make the glove heavier.
* High grade saddle soup contains a bit of bee’s wax and a very light oil.
Bee’s wax will help protect the leather from dampness and sweat and
the light surface oil will help keep the leather conditioned.
* Never use direct water or a wet cloth on the glove and do not
submerge the glove in water.
* Water, steam, and high heat will leach the essential oils from the
glove; these oils cannot be replaced with glove oil.
* If your glove becomes wet you should wipe it down with a dry cloth.
Place the wet glove in a cool dry place; on a wire rack is best so air
can flow all around the glove. You can put newspaper in the palm area.
Let the glove dry out naturally, this may take several days depending on
how wet the glove was.
* Do not try to speed up the drying by using heat, hair dryer, oven,
microwave or other devices. Any of these will damage the glove.

GLOVEWHISPERER CONDITIONING PROCESS

GloveWhisperer (GW) uses a proprietary process to Break-in, Condition, and Shape every glove. Our process has been refined over a decade with more than 50,000 gloves conditioned. Our all natural process includes multiple steps ensuring each glove we work with is returned to our customers 100% playable and that every customer is 100% satisfied.

Every customer is asked to submit their order through our website, as we use information you provided while completing your order to check-in every glove when it arrives at our Connecticut workshop; an email is sent to you letting you know your glove has arrived safely. At any time you can check the progress of your glove online by logging into your account using your email and password. An email with complete tracking information is sent to you when your glove is completed and shipped back. If you have sent us a glove in the past through our website you can simply login to your account to begin placing a new order.

BRAND NEW or WELL WORN, EACH GLOVE IS EVALUATED BY A GW GLOVE PROFESSIONAL.

New gloves are sent for appropriate service based on glove type (Outfielder, Infielder, Catcher, or 1st Base), manufacturer and model. We recognize subtle differences in each glove model from each individual manufacturer and we customize our process for the best results. Well Worn Gloves are sorted in the same way as new gloves and additionally are reviewed for tune-up services such as: tightening of webbing/ lacing and adjustment of straps while giving a general overall evaluation of the glove. Tune-ups are included with our WELL WORN glove services. If we find that a glove needs repair beyond what we offer, or that conditioning will not allow the full benefit of our services to the player we will contact you immediately.
